Order prescription onlineRepeat Prescriptions are issued only by prior agreement with the Doctor.
Methods for ordering your prescriptions are:
- Online Prescription Ordering – please click on the link above for ordering if you are registered for this service. If you are not already registered for online prescription ordering and you would like to register please call us or come in to the practice in person to register.
- Sign-up to the Repeat Prescribing Service (contact your local pharmacy to find our more about this). The chemist will order your prescription and you will collect your prescription directly from the pharmacy of your choice.
- We will also take prescription orders via the telephone.
Please call between 10:00-12:00 and 14:00-16:00 to order a repeat prescription. When ordering your repeat prescription you must give your name, date of birth, name of drug and dosage/strength. You must allow 2 working days before picking up your prescription from the chemist. If ordering your prescription online please check carefully that you have ordered the correct dosage/strength of the medication required as you may have different strengths of the same medication on your prescription record. If you have any medications listed on your repeat prescribing record which you do not use any longer, please inform us via the messaging facility when ordering your repeat prescription. We are continuing to try to reduce footfall at the practice therefore where possible your prescription will be transferred to a chemist of your choice.
Please note that you must have an annual medication review in order to continue to receive repeat prescriptions.
Order & Collect Service (Repeat Prescribing Service)
All of the Pharmacists in Bathgate offer an “order and collect” service. This service means you do not have to travel to the Health Centre. The Pharmacist does this on your behalf. We would encourage you to use this service. Please contact your local Pharmacist for details.
