Suggestions & Complaints


We welcome all suggestions regarding the services provided by the practice – these can be made verbally or in writing to the Office Manager who will be happy to initiate any appropriate action.


We make every effort to give the best service possible to everyone who attends our practice. However, we’re aware that things can go wrong resulting in a patient feeling that they have a genuine cause for complaint. If this were so, we would wish for the matter to be settled as quickly, and as amicably, as possible. Should you wish to make a complaint, we operate an “in-house” procedure that we encourage you to use in the first instance, details of which are available from the Management Team. Information on making a formal complaint to the Primary Care Services section of Lothian NHS Board, with whom we hold our contract for providing primary care services, is available on request.
