Appointments
As from Monday 5th September 2022 our appointment system is changing. A request for an appointment may result in a face to face consultation, telephone consultation or a video consultation with the Doctor, Nurse, Physiotherapist, Mental Health Nurse or Pharmacist.
Appointments can be made by telephone only, by calling 01506 653 134 .
- URGENT APPOINTMENTS – Will be released daily at 0800 for patients who are unwell and require an on the day appointment.
- ROUTINE APPOINTMENTS – You can book a routine GP appointment up to 3 weeks in advance either face to face or via the telephone.
- You may request to see any Doctor at time of booking – for ongoing problems we would encourage you to see the same Doctor. If a suitable appointment is not available with the Doctor/Nurse of your choice, you may be offered one with another member of the team.
- Appointments are for one patient only and all consultations are by appointment only.
- If you cannot keep an appointment please inform us as soon as possible, ideally giving 24 hours notice.
- Doctors always try to keep to time. However, if a patient has a difficult problem or requires urgent hospital admission, delays can result.
Consulting Times
The practice offers a range of appointments Monday to Friday 0800-1800. The practice participates in extended hours and some telephone consultations are available from 07.30.
Under 16’s
If a child under 16 has a planned booked appointment, it may be considered in their best interests to have a parent/guardian present, they may be required to have an adult before a consultation can take place via telephone/video.
