Please try and call between 8am and 6pm if you have a problem which you feel needs urgent attention on the same day and cannot wait a routine consultation, please explain this to Reception.
House Calls
House calls are available on request for patients too ill to attend the surgery. At home the Doctor will only have limited equipment and it is often difficult to perform a full assessment of your symptoms. It is therefore essential that if it is at all possible you attend the Surgery to see the Doctor.
- If you need a visit please telephone reception between 8.00am and 10.00 if at all possible.
- Please give the receptionist as much information as possible to allow the on-call Doctor to assess the priority of all house calls required.
Test Results
Please call between 10:00-12:00 and 14:00-16:00 to enquire regarding your test results as our staff will have more time to deal with our request between these times.
We have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data.
When your test is taken you will be told how long it will be before the results are returned to the practice. It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment with your Doctor/Nurse if you are advised to do so.
